Its custody and trading platform stores supported assets in offline, cold-vaulted environments with multi-tier approvals, multi-site storage, audited controls, and integrated execution that can leave assets in custody during trading. The current site also identifies collateral-account services for hedge funds and proprietary trading firms and a dedicated corporate-treasury workflow for companies adding digital assets to balance sheets. Fidelity Digital Assets, National Association received a national trust bank charter from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in 2025, while related entities maintain registrations for specified activities in the United Kingdom. The platform serves advisers, family offices, asset managers, banks, miners, pensions, and corporate treasurers, with live institutional support. It can custody bitcoin used in a lending or property-finance structure, but it does not provide title insurance or determine real estate value. Insurance limits, supported assets, account control agreements, and jurisdictional availability are mandate-specific.
